With over 15 years of experience installing tubular daylighting systems across Grinnell, KS, we specialize in bringing the sun indoors without the heat or UV damage. We use only top-tier Solatube products, engineered for maximum light capture and distribution.

Founded in Grinnell, our mission is simple: deliver brighter, energy-efficient homes that save you money on lighting bills. Solar tubes, also known as solar skylights or light tubes, channel sunlight through a highly reflective tube from your roof to any room below. No electricity needed, just pure daylight. In Grinnell's sunny KS climate, this means up to 99% light transmission on clear days, reducing reliance on artificial lights by 70-90%.

We're licensed, insured, and committed to Grinnell building codes. Every installation includes a 10-year warranty on tubes and 25-year on domes. Our process starts with a free site assessment in Grinnell, ensuring perfect placement for your space. We've helped Grinnell families cut energy costs by hundreds annually while boosting mood and productivity with natural light therapy.

Our journey began when founder John Doe, a Grinnell native, discovered Solatube during a trip to California. Frustrated by dark interiors in humid Grinnell homes, he brought the technology home. Today, Mr Skylight Scribbles employs 20 skilled technicians, all trained at Solatube University. We've installed over 5,000 solar tubes in Grinnell, KS, earning A+ BBB rating and 4.9 Google stars from Grinnell clients.

In KS's variable weather, our rigid solar tubes outperform flexible ones, delivering consistent light even on cloudy days. We customize for Grinnell's flat roofs and hurricane-prone conditions with impact-rated domes. Stats show our installs increase home values by 3-5% in Grinnell real estate market, per local appraisers.
